Individual cabin ventilation

Pressure independent cabin units support the most sophisticated indoor environment in ship cabins. They are connected to our room controllers which are responsible for regulating airflow and air temperature in the cabin.

All of the above is controlled and maintained individually in each cabin which ensures air quality and air temperature and thereby well being in the best possible level.

Cabin ventilation automation equipment can operate on a LON, Modbus RTU, Modbus Ethernet or WiFi which allows the cabin units to be controlled, monitored and adjusted by a supervision system.

Through intelligent network systems it is possible to achieve the highest possible energy efficiency.

  • Supporting various cabin air conditioning and ventilation systems like Fancoils, Cabin units, Chiled beams
  • Wide selection of room thermostats
  • Network solution
  • Advanced energy efficiency

Galley ventilation

As a result of a long term partnership with Halton we developed a unique system that can save significant amount of energy in galleys without reducing comfort and functionality.
Halton’s demand control ventilation called M.A.R.V.E.L. adjusts hood exhaust airflow based on cooking equipment status. This is done automatically and individually for each hood.

  • High energy efficient system
  • Longer service period time and less maintenance
  • Possibility of communication with other systems

In traditional systems the galley ventilation is usually operating with a constant airflows. This particular ventilation system, on the other hand, is based on regulating the exhaust and supply air volumes according to actual needs. System detects status of cooking equipment by the use of sensors and an algorithm designed for galley application. M.A.R.V.E.L. also provides favourable conditions by supervising and maintaining humidity and temperature levels inside the galley.

All the hoods controllers are connected into network and users can easily control them through the touch panel device. The result of M.A.R.V.E.L. system is optimal energy consumption based on actual needs which is also environmentally friendly.
